Welcome to
Xenola Wellness
At Xenola Wellness, sound becomes a pathway to rest, balance, and renewal.
From our home in the Santa Ynez Valley to sessions throughout Los Angeles, Ojai, and beyond, we offer sound healing experiences that support deep relaxation and emotional reset.
Whether through a private session or a shared collective journey, our work helps you unwind the stress of daily life and experience a grounded sense of ease and clarity.
Where vibration, frequency, and intention create space for deep rest and renewal.
I offer both 1:1 sessions and group sound journeys, blending a wide spectrum of therapeutic instruments—including tuning forks, crystal bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, drums, chimes, tingshas, and subtle percussive textures.
Each experience is designed to calm the nervous system, release tension held in the body, and guide you into a state of grounded, spacious peace. Whether you’re seeking a private session tailored to your specific needs or a communal sound bath that supports shared healing, you’ll find a space here to slow down, soften, and come back home to yourself.
About Allison
Sound, Stillness & the Art of Deep Listening
I’m a sound healing facilitator, and visual storyteller based in Santa Ynez, California. My work blends therapeutic vibration with immersive sound journeys, creating experiences that help the body unwind, recalibrate, and remember its own natural rhythm.
Certified in both 1:1 sound healing using tuning-forks and group sound healing with The Sound Healing Academy, I work with a diverse palette of instruments: crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks, gongs, drums, tingshas, shakers, and subtle vocal tones. My approach is intuitive, grounded in integral sound healing principles, and shaped by my background as a filmmaker—rooted in presence, sensory awareness, and a deep reverence for the power of sound.
I believe sound creates a doorway back into ourselves.
Into ease.
Into clarity.
Into the quiet we so often lose in daily life.

* The team — The city’s top stylists
Sound healing is one of humanity’s oldest wellness practices. For thousands of years, Indigenous cultures around the world—including Native American, African, and other ancestral communities—have used drums, rattles, voice, bowls, and rhythmic vibration to restore balance, connect with spirit, and support emotional and physical well-being. These traditions understand the body not as separate parts, but as an interconnected system—where sound, breath, memory, and energy move together. At Xenola Wellness, we honor these lineages by weaving their teachings with contemporary instruments and intentional sound practices.
Modern science is beginning to affirm what ancient cultures have always known: vibration affects the body at a deep level. Frequency and resonance can influence the nervous system, support relaxation, shift brainwave states, and help release stored tension. Systems science recognizes that healing is not purely mechanical—it’s relational, emotional, energetic, and environmental. Sound healing sits at this bridge. It invites the body to recalibrate naturally, encourages spaciousness in the mind, and supports the kind of restorative rest that often gets dismissed in our fast, analytical world. While not a medical treatment, sound healing offers a powerful complement: an ancestral technology of harmony, presence, and deep remembering.
